My Philosophy

I believe therapy should be a place where you can take a breath and be completely yourself. You don’t have to walk into my office with everything figured out. You don’t have to know exactly what you need to work on. And you certainly don’t have to pretend that everything is okay.

My role is to meet you where you are and create a space where you feel safe, respected, and free from judgment. Sometimes that means listening. Sometimes it means offering thoughtful feedback. Sometimes it means challenging you to look a little deeper. And sometimes it simply means sitting with you in a difficult moment. I’m a strong believer in giving you what you need in the moment.

My approach is person-centered and solution-focused, with an emphasis on trauma-informed care. I want our work together to be collaborative, not something that is simply done to you. You know yourself and your story better than anyone. My job is to help you better understand that story, identify the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop tools that help you move forward. Most importantly, I want you to leave therapy feeling like you have more power in your own story.

A Space For You

I work with individuals and couples navigating a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism and neurodivergence, trauma, grief, self-esteem, body image, codependency, stress, mood concerns, relationships, and major life transitions.

I also have a special interest in supporting LGBTQ+ clients, women, transgender individuals, veterans, and neurodivergent individuals, as well as clients exploring spirituality, identity, sexuality, polyamory and ethical non-monogamy, and psychedelic integration.

My work also includes support for individuals navigating traumatic brain injury, peer and relationship concerns, and the many complicated experiences that can come with simply figuring out who you are and what you need.

You don’t have to fit into a particular box to belong in this space.

My Hope For You

My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can take a breath, let your guard down, and feel comfortable being completely yourself. A place where you feel heard without judgment, supported when things feel heavy, and encouraged when you’re ready to take the next step.

My hope is that you begin to see yourself with a little more compassion. That you can recognize the patterns that have shaped you, understand where they came from, and decide which ones you’re ready to leave behind. That you learn you can set boundaries without guilt, prioritize yourself without feeling selfish, and care for others without losing yourself in the process.

Most of all, my hope is that you reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have gotten lost along the way. That you feel more confident in who you are, more equipped to navigate life’s challenges, and more at peace with where you are right now.

You don’t have to have it all figured out before you begin. You just have to be willing to start.
